I took my sister and two nieces to the city just before Christmas – 12/17/2006 .  Our final stop before heading back to the airport to come home to Atlanta was to Battalion 9, Engine 54, Ladder 4 fire house.  We wanted to wish everyone there a Merry Christmas and say a huge thank you for serving the city of New York and, in essence, the rest of the country as well as extend our condolences for the horrific losses encountered on 9/11/01.  Here is a photo of my nieces and one of New York 's bravest!
